Assessment of Cardiovascular Risk Factors Among Sudanese Patients with Type 2 Diabetes

Background: Individuals with type 2 diabetes who have optimum condition management are exposed to a significantly higher risk of developing cardiovascular disease (CVD) compared those do not diabetes. People estimated fourfold greater CVD than people without factors other include older age, obesity hypertension, dyslipidemia, smoking, and family history coronary or kidney diseases.
 Objectives: The study aims assess the among type2 at Ribat Hospital Diabetes Clinic, Sudan.
 Methods: T2 DM patients were evaluated for presence by using data collecting form extract verbally from patients’ files.
 Results: Out 147 files, 92 (61.7 %) female, 57 (38.3 male, 58 (38.9 ≥ 60 year old. Patients had poor glycemic control 112 (75.2 met target only 37 (24.8 %).
